It's been a great early November - we had our first big rains so Maya and Reed got to play with umbrellas. Kris & Billy have been building the addition to their house so they (and Reed!) have been staying with us giving Maya her favorite playmate back, and just last night Maya and Tarek made a intricate towers out of blocks. It's amazing the complexity of tower Tarek was able to do with Maya's help, guidance, and engineering. More photos of these last few weeks here.

Maya and Grammy on the swings

Grammy arrived Thursday for a visit, Mom left today for a few weeks for work. Maya is so far so good in the transition - we had an evening at the swings, then pizza, and a few books on the way to bedtime. More photos from the swings here.

Lots of good reports that she's flowering there, and she comes home happy, and not so desperately thrilled to see Mom or Pop at the end of the day.
